After the resolution to keep the base rate at 14.25% per annum with a corridor of +/-1 percentage points, put into force on October 11 this year, the National Bank of Kazakhstan began to develop a schedule of decisions on it for the incoming year of 2025.
Now, the Kazakh medias are reporting that the schedule has been approved, according to which it is planned to make eight such decisions, four of which will be made based on the results of the forecast round.
Dates of announcing the decisions are as follows:
- January 17th;
- March 7th;
- April 11th;
- June 5th;
- July 11th;
- August 29th;
- October 10th;
- November 28th.
